This month, JRC proudly welcomed the 2025 cohort of our RISE Internship Program, an elite, hands-on learning experience designed to cultivate the next generation of defense leaders.

Our RISE interns are exceptional students from distinguished universities, including MIT, Harvard, Purdue, Rose-Hulman, and Embry-Riddle. They bring diverse backgrounds and a shared commitment to contributing to mission-critical projects that support national security and strategic defense.

The RISE Program offers more than just an internship; it’s an opportunity to take on real world technical projects directly supporting our nation’s most important defense goals. From optimizing missile power distributions systems to developing machine tools that assist with threat identification, these students aren’t just learning, they’re innovating.  These experiences provide unparalleled exposure to real challenges and technical solutions within the defense industry.

Beyond technical skills, RISE emphasizes professional growth. Interns receive mentorship from JRC experts, participate in cross-functional teams, and develop leadership abilities that prepare them for impactful careers. Many of our interns continue with JRC through co-op programs or transition into full-time roles, reflecting our commitment to long-term talent development.

At JRC, we believe in investing in people who are passionate about making a difference. The RISE Program embodies our values of family, excellence, and integrity, providing interns with the tools and experiences to lead with purpose.
